March 2006

I, Robot. Good show, this.
I don’t care what the critics say. Halle Berry is HAWT in this movie. Makes me want to love cats all again.
Lots to lament about.
Main reason for lamenting; my previous company getting an average of 2 mths bonus per person, which meant that I would have gotten 2.25-2.5 mths, because I was a merit awardee.
This would not have mattered much if not for the sad fact that I do not really enjoy working in my 1+mth old new job.
My pay does not justify me being there. I ought to be paid more.
Yes, I agree that it doesn’t take a degree holder to know how to work in an environment where drilling sounds ringgggggggg in your ears throughout the day, for 5 and a 1/2 days EVERY WEEK. But still, I sweat so much each day, breathe in so much toxic stuff, get cut so often (among other things) THAT I WISHED I HAD NOT JOINED THIS COMPANY… so early.
Shut up Alex.
Ok, I shall. Regrets are part of one’s life, and I ought to just take it as a lesson learnt. BUT THEN, THAT MISTAKE COST ME $2.5K LAH! Nabei Chao Cheesecake.
I could blog on about my past week’s affairs, but, honestly, who else here other than me reads this shit? Anyways, who cares about my boring affairs?
Oh, ok.
Played basketball on Thursday and Saturday. Funnest days of my week.
Presentation was yesterday… oops, alarm sounded. It’s officially Wednesday now, folks!
Jokes aside (imitating my lecturer, Mr Roland Kiew), the presentation went pretty quickly. Nick only took 5 minutes instead of the ‘cut-short’ 10 minutes given by Mr. Kiew. But, it was pretty ok lah.
Newcastle just can’t stop losing against the big clubs, and the not so big clubs. BAH! 4 losses on the trot. How bad is that? Boo-yaaaaa!
Alright lah, time to go wank or something. Naaaaaah, think sleep is more vital now. Work + class tomorrow.
Night folks!
First thought… FUCK!!!

My accident case is not proceeding on as smoothly as I had anticipated, predicted, hoped.
First, my 1st witness hung up on me by changing his contact number.
Next, my lawyer informed me that the doctor at TTSH did not write in his statement that the other fucker fella was drunk.
Third, SCDF report states that the f0rker was drowsy. Couldn’t they have used a better fucking word to describe a person who was OBVIOUSLY drunk? S.O.B!
Now, latest bombshell is that the SCDF paramedic who said that he could render me his assistance if I needed someone as a witness retracted his initial offer by saying that his Superior disallowed him from doing so.
Nuff said. I’m a goner. KNNBPCB. (it’s rare that I scold this online)
Okay, I wanted to type out happy thoughts but now, thanks to this latest piece of info, everything else has been superceded by this ONE thought. Well done.

I think my life here is m.o.n.o.t.o.n.o.u.s.!

Getting bored really fast… quite dissatisfied with the people, the environment, the job.

I want to go home….. =( Thank Gawd it’s the weekend.

Looking forward to doing these during this weekend:
Basketball
Sleep
Tv
Doing assignment (not really looking forward to this though)
Getting fresh air

I can’t remember when was the last time that I blogged, and I am a little lazy to check, so anyways, I’ll just update on Saturday + Sunday.

Work went on as normal on Saturday.

After work, I went to fetch my dear from her place, then proceeded on to Bugis where I parked the bike. Had lunch at the normal Chinese Muslim Chicken Rice shop, then went to Bras Basah to check out some arts supplies. Chanced upon Jasmine Tham, my former flame there.

After shopping (or window shopping rather) we went to the Drama Centre at the National Library to catch Army Daze.

To say that Army Daze was a riot, was an understatement to say the very least! It was simply a minute a laugh, and you could tell that the cast were all enjoying themselves as well! Everything was splendid except for a few fellas up in the 2nd level who kept making noise, so Army-ish! Seriously, Kumar (as Lathi) as well as Hossan Leong (Malcolm) and the rest made this $100 an enjoyable expense.

After the drama, we walked over to Suntec to see what bargain goods were there at the IT show. DISAPPOINTMENT! Nothing there interested me, except maybe the HAWT model in the 1-piece black dress advertising the light LG lap-top. You gotta ponder, how much is she making an hour?

Sunday was the same, cept that me and dear went to Rifle Range to play ball… for 2 hours!

Okay, time to eat my rice+soup….

So, my former colleagues and I went to catch this movie at Junction 8, after rave reviews and a recommendation from Elissa.

It turned out to be SO FRICKIN’ LOUSY! It was supposed to be something like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It turned out to be some Discovery Channel program. More of a “Hi, visit Australia and see it’s wonderful sights! Also, if you want to venture into the unknown and maybe get abducted by a rapist-cum-murderer, why not pop by Wolf Creek! Hell, we’ll even throw in a free car repair for you while you’re at it, with thanks to our main man, Mike!

Why not catch it while you can! Liz Hunter (in the movie) looks quite the sweet girl whom I thought would be the only one to survive the slaughter, but well, I was wrong.

I think it’s coming back again. My depression. Sigh.
Played ball on Thursday with the guys at Sin Ming. Didn’t play as well as I would have wanted to. Guess I need remedial training. Low point of the day was when I passed to Donny, just a normal pass… and I blew it… by a mile!
Went to play games with Don, Andrew, Eugene and Hanming after that. C&C Generals Zero Hour again. Kena bullied. Sian. Trying to find the game now, but even the Original one also no one selling. Wtf!
On Friday, went to see the doctor in the morning and got an MC for a ear infection.
In the evening, me and dear went to J8 Sistic to get tickets for the Musical Army Daze, as well as Premiere tickets for Fundoshi. Hope that these two musicals are good!
Went to Taka and Heeren after that, in the hopes of getting a notebook for her, and a pencil case for me. Result, no pencil case that suits me, and she bought the wrong notebook.
Saturday at work was normal. Getting disillusioned now. Work is mundane. I feel like I am not being tested to my potential.
Went for a briefing after that, at Revenue House. Will be given cash plus a token sum of appreciation to eat Mac Ds and KFC. =D
Went to CCC after that, to find only Danny and Zhi Xiong there. Luckily for them, I brought my basketball. Chung Hao came along after that, followed by Yi Bin, Xue Min, Marc, Dennis and Joshua.
Sprained my ankle badly when I collided with Dennis. However, as my ankles were already gone, I didn’t feel much pain, cept for the fact that the joint area was very sensitive, thus I was unable to participate fully.
It was the same when I left CCC to play at Bedok. I felt like crap, yet I didn’t let up cos I wanted to play ball so badly.
I ended up with a super bruised ankle, which I could hardly use to change gears while riding back. Sakit!
Tiger Balm did it for me though. =)
Oh, and Newcastle won Bolton 3-1, courtesy of goals from Solano, Shearer and Ameobi. Woot! The Roeder revival is still going strong!
Sunday was my niece Magdalene’s birthday. 2 years old, I think. We had an outdoor BBQ at Labrador Park. HOTTTTTTTTTTT! But, it was ok lah.
Now, rest time on a drab Monday. Think I shall call it the end for this post, and catch some 20 winks. Seeya!

3 days have passed.

I tore my fav jeans. Fuck!
I cut my index finger! Fuck!
I failed my first ever Principles of Management test! Fuck!

Tired now. Depressed, kinda. Various reasons. Aiyuh, nothing much to say today… cept that… TMR IS BASKETBALL DAY! Wheeeeee! Ello moto! Are you going too?
