December 2006

California Fitness, Novena.

Time really flew while training here. 2 hours! Gym+suana+shower. It’s really great! And I reckon that it’ll be much better by the time my sprained back recovers.

I guess that I’ll be coming here again tomorrow, and every free day that I can spare. WHACK LAH!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND

ALL!!!! May all your wishes come

true! =)

I knew that I could count on them to make a winning streak count.

Goals from Kieron Dyer, Obafemi Martins, and the Captain Scott Parker, with a goal in between by Danny Murphy (who were linked to us) off Steven Taylor, capped a wonderful game for the Magpies.

Martins seems to be repaying off his £10.5m cost, with his 6th Premiership goal in 5 games, and the 9th of the season, while Dyer seems settled in, playing off lone striker Martins.

A cause for worry though, would be Shay Given. He seems to have tweaked his groin, but I hope that it’s not too serious. =D

I’m finally back from Thailand… after spending 5 days there.

Initially, it was to be a 3 day affair. However, on the 2nd day, we were told that production of the side glasses could not be completed by then, and we would have to extend our stay.

To say that it was a fun trip would be the worst thing to say. We had barely enough time to complete it, much less have any quality time shopping. Journeys to and fro our hotels (we stayed in two) to the factory and the supplier’s office was a HUGE 1 and a half hour’s journey always, and that’s going at 120-140km p/hr on his Isuzu SCV (never seen one of those before) on the freeway, which is provided that there’s no jam.

I would love to stay and write more, but I guess that will have to do for now. I’ll blog again, soon, about my trip. =)

Till then… *waves*

Bleeding black & white…:
Desperate fan

Freddy Shepherd quotes taken from The Mail, starting with a denial that he’s a serial sacker:

“It’s unfair. Look at the facts — Kenny Dalglish and Ruud Gullit both resigned, Sir Bobby Robson was here for five years and Graeme Souness, well let’s just say every Geordie in the world was telling me to sack him before I did.

“Glenn’s job has never been on the line, not even after the Sheffield United defeat. Not once have I regretted appointing him.

“He may be a Cockney but this is his spiritual home. I certainly don’t hear any complaints from fans about Glenn being in charge.

“Yes, I once said I’d leave when the club won its first Cup under my chairmanship but well, the Intertoto doesn’t count. Anyway, it’s not even a cup, it’s glass!

“Don’t get me wrong, I’m not decrying the competition, it’s been very good for us and we’re delighted and honoured to be its last survivors in the UEFA Cup but I think the fans knew what I meant.

“Considering the injuries, Glenn has done a fantastic job. In fact, I doubt even Sir Alex Ferguson could have done a better one in the circumstances.

“You can only go to war with what you’ve got and the truth is he’s gone into a lot of battles without his heavy artillery and he’s won quite a few of them. Now we’re starting to get a few back and you can see the difference.

“We always knew it would be a difficult season. Losing Alan Shearer through retirement and then Michael Owen at the World Cup would have an adverse affect on any club in Europe.

“But it didn’t end there. Shola Ameobi is out for the season, Kieron Dyer is only just back, Titus Bramble and Craig Moore have had their injury problems, Stephen Carr, Charles N’Zogbia . . . the list goes on.

“I saw a Newcastle Crocks XI the other day and thought, ‘that’s not a bad team’. It would win a hell of a lot more games than it lost. And yet Glenn rarely complains.

“There’s a lot to look forward to in 2007. Michael will be back at some stage and goals are guaranteed from that young man. He’s only played 10 games and scored seven goals. If he scores at the same ratio, then think what a difference that will make.

“I want to make it clear that I’m as committed to Newcastle as I’ve ever been. I’m desperate for success.

“I’m Fred the fan first, chairman second. I first started watching Newcastle as a kid on the Gallowgate End and I’ll continue watching until the day I die. It’s my club — and I mean that not as a chairman, but in the way every fan says it’s his or her club.”

in my adulthood life.

Heading to Thailand with my boss and a fellow colleague to check lots and lots of side glass for the project! And the worst part of it is that I received word that it’s situated in an industrial side, so shopping may not be on the list. I WANT TO GO SHOPPING!!

To my dear: Eeyore has taken a few photographs already. Heh. =)

To my friends: HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Me and dear signed up for the Calironia Fitness membership on a pre-contract of 1 year. Anyone cares to join up under my referral? I need 3 friends… hehe. KEEPING FIT TIME!

I can visualise the topic coming true in the next few months.

Dilemma?

I think so.

It’s so real. I feel like one of the characters of the recently finished channel 8 drama on bankrupts and the likes.

Lost? Yes. I. Think I am.
