Today, we headed over to Orchard to try and find some nice Couple T-shirts for our Photoshoot (the following week).
Parked the bike behind Pacific Plaza as usual, and headed down towards Far East Plaza. Whoa! Scotts looked way different. When was the last time I saw Scotts? When I wanted to have some of my favourite Beef noodles there and someone told me that they had recently closed down. Was it Hanxin? Think so.
Went through the whole of Far Esat Plaza without success. Then we walked over to Cineleisure where we did see one stall selling Couple Tees, but they were of inferior quality. Went to the Apple shop on the top level of the shops, that is, and saw some cool Wacom tablets. Saw one which was reasonably priced at $189. It’s a small Wacom tablet, and it came in either white or silver. Medium size came in black, which of course, would be my preference, but it was priced at $299 or something like that… so, err… no thanks. When can I afford to get one Wacom tablet? Sigh…
Next stop, we headed to The Heeren, and there, instead of finding us some tees, we found a shop selling stickers. Well, it’s an Alternative shop (forgot the name) that sold mini-mahjong sets, bingo sets, and some stickers from Winkplay. Website is http://winkplay.com/index.php . How time flies so very fast. The next I know, I’ll be hitting 30 (looks at Ah Gu, Ah 9, Tiger) Oh my goodness.
Anyways… thanks to all who remembered my birthday and / or bothered to take the trouble to message me. I thought I was a forgotten man, till the first sms from Bro Gu. *touched*

Went to IMM today, with Ai Ling, after slogging for my mom during the day. Alright, not really slogging lah, but still…
Anyways. We came across this shop, HomeStyle, on the 2nd floor of IMM, near KopiTiam. Ai Ling’s eye caught a bedsheet set which was a staggering $159.00! But, it as pretty alright, as it was a bedsheet/quilt/2pillowcase/2bolstercase set. What made the deal sweeter was that, with $150 spent, we were entitled to $30 discount.
Then, another thing caught my eye. It was a ‘Purchase with Purchase’ deal. Buy one bedsheet set from selected ranges, and get a quilt for $1! Why not?
So, after a little hassle, we decided to get one particular set, plus 1 quilt, which cost $160, and after the discount, it would cost $130.
Here’s what made the deal sweeter… Keeping in mind that we had already made purchases that amounted to $130, the lady told us that if we topped up the amount to $150, we were entitled for another $30 discount. So… what we did was we got 2 pillow protectors that cost $12 each, and it amounted to $154. And after discount, we paid $124!!!!! LOBANGGGG.. MAI TU LIAO!
Get what I mean? So, what are you waiting for? The last day is end September. Go go go!
