Today was the official launch for the game, HELLGATE: LONDON.

As much as I hate to admit it, DA GAME LOOKS L33T!!!!! Ughhhhhhhh! Whyyyyyy? No money to buy any new games, no money to even upgrade my lagging-like-there’s-no-tomorrow-pc, heck, sometimes, I wonder if I have enough money to even eat. Sigh!

But, after looking at the coolly-designed special edition boxset of the game, and watching the videos of it, one cannot prevent oneself from thinking of getting a loan to get the game and upgrade the pc. But, if one were to do that, two would definitely kill one.

Mad, no?

Seriously speaking though, anyone here in this small community interested in playing this game? I guess it kinda sucks after a while to play alone. It would be like how I spent hours on end playing through the same maps in DiabloII alone while my good brother Donny slept on cos his timing wasn’t the same as mine.

I wanna be a Templarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Nuff!

Oh, by the way, Happy Halloween folks!

So, what happens is that I went online early in the morning 10th of Oct, at the risk of being caught by my bosses for using the Internet during office hours (when there’s work to be done), to apply for one of the Sector A flats available to me. Kiasu me. Didn’t want to wait till the last minute.

Was once of the first 20 applicants, judging by the once-every-few-hour update. Thought my chances were super high. At the end of the application period, there was a grand total of 4800 applications received, for just over 400 flats available. 1/10 chance of getting a flat, and I’m in the lead!

Then the bomb dropped just now.

HDB texted me, saying that I was applicant number 2882. NBCB!!!! It’s like, really, wtf!! Dear didn’t seem particularly bummed by that fact, maybe she’s being optimistic about it. But logically speaking, wtf?!?!?!?!

After reading my bro DBlack07’s rantings about being 99999th position in the rankings of SGBlogs… I decided to check it out…

Wheeet! Steady lah! Limpeh got position number 260! Haha… Sure or not? Who reads my blog anyway? -_-”

Makes me 0.0000050543% more determined to put in more effort into my posts from now on.

Right.

Anyways, today was a very packed day. In between Church (where I was touched by Father Jivan’s sermon on how we should all be grateful for the good things that we have in life), my dear and I went house-shopping. Rather, we went to potential houses which is on sale this walk-in selection, being estates in Jurong East, Bukit Batok, Bukit Panjang, and Choa Chu Kang. We went to all the flats that we shortlisted, parked the bike in the various car-parks available to us, and went to check out i.e. the neighbourhood, the atmosphere, the neighbours, the location, the amenities.. well, we stopped short on the amenities bit, cos, we didn’t really have the time. But, one thing was for sure. We’re POOPED!!

It’s ‘Crunch Time’ week for me… feeling a little pressured.

It all started this morning, when I ccame to office and opened up my email. Then I realised that the AIG Manager had come back on Saturday and bombarded my email account with notes on why pro-active calling was not done and why am I so slow in this and that. And worse still, my M.D sent me an email asking why and how could I reslove this.

Of course I was shocked. One, I’ve been pretty confident of my work thus far, and feel that I’ve been making headway on getting to break through the barrier that is known as the ‘Law Firms’.

So, I went to check the chief complaints that the AIG Manager had emailed about, and realised after a short while that the complaints were about cases which I had taken up only the day before! And since there was so little information, there was not much that I could do!

Ugh!

Oh well… anyways, tomorrow will be a packed day. 4 statements to be done, and if possible, I would love to get the Commissioner of Oaths down to the witness of the Cairnhill Rd case so that I can close that case.

Stressed, a little. Frustrated, more so.

Btw, Newcastle won 3-2. *jumps about in glee*
