.. that we should prevent Malaysians from buying Singapore registered vehicles. I’m not being Anti-Malaysian or anything, but here are my points.

  1. Malaysians buy Singapore registered motorcycles, cars, and commercial vehicles, in the process, they make the market for COE more competitive. When it becomes more competitive, Singaporeans find it more expensive to buy motorcycles and cars.
  2. The difference between Singapore and Malaysian riders (Not all, but I dare say a vast majority) is that Malaysian riders are a heck more reckless when it comes to weeving in and out of traffic at the expense of their lives perhaps?
  3. There are just SO many bike lots. Our country isn’t exactly small, y’know?
  4. There are SO many riders / drivers who do NOT, I repeat, do NOT care the least about pollution. The smoke, the noise etc. Yes, I am aware that Singaporeans are equally at fault in that aspect. Therefore, I guess that it’s a matter of integrity, principles.

I still had some thoughts on this topic, but I can’t remember them off hand. Oh well.
